Want to meet your local farmers? Mark your calendar for the Eastern Triangle Farm Tour, September 23-24. Tour local, sustainable farms and discover the delicious meat, dairy, fruits, and veggies produced right here in the Eastern Triangle! Twenty-six farms will open their gates from 1-5pm for this family-friendly event. Visit with barnyard animals, see the sights of the country, taste farm-fresh food, and meet the farmers who grow your food! Many farms have products for sale, so don’t forget to bring a cooler.
Stop by the Co-op to buy your “Support Local Farms” button. Your button is your ticket, good for a full carload of people to visit any of the participating farms.
