On Sunday, November 6, 2016 we will hold our 8th Annual Meeting of Durham Co-op Market Owners at the store from 6 to 8 pm. We will be serving dinner to meeting attendees from 5 to 6 pm. At the meeting, owners will receive the store’s annual report and an update from our GM, consider any non-binding questions and hear statements from the slate of board candidates.
DCM is seeking board candidates who are dedicated to the mission of the cooperative. This year, there are two open consumer owner seats on the Board of Directors. Any owner wishing to run for the board should contactAnnualMeeting@durham.coop by October 6,2016. Please submit your name, contact information, member number and a brief statement of interest in serving on the board. Board members must be owners of the cooperative.

As a DCM owner, you will receive notice of board candidates and agenda topics prior to the meeting, so be on the lookout. Ballots will be put out in the store prior to the meeting, and discussion and voting will take place at the meeting.
