Learn to home-brew your own Kombucha with Grant Ruhlman, owner and Fermentor-in-Chief of Homebucha – Durham’s local kombucha company. As a participant you will learn some of the history and lore of this ancient beverage, discuss its potential health benefits, and learn the step-by-step nuances of producing a fizzy, delicious kombucha of your own. We’ll also co-create “SCOBY” cultures for each participant to take home. The workshop will wrap up with a tasting of current Homebucha flavors.
Please bring a notebook, pen, and an open mind for making new friends!
This class will be held in the upstairs meeting room at the co-op.
